Our Mission
Lakeland Family Church exists to see individuals valued, celebrated and transformed
by the love of Jesus Christ.
Being family oriented, we will support, equip and send our families to be ministers of this life changing gospel in their own neighborhoods and communities using their God given
talents and stories.
Core Values
These values are our DNA. They drive what we do and how we use our resources.
Transformation
We desire to see individuals transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. This transformation comes through worship, learning, involvement in church life, serving, and mission opportunities in our community.
2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come; The old has gone, the new is here!
Celebration
We celebrate who God is and what he’s done but we also celebrate each individual and family. We are a place of celebration of community and people’s significance within that community. It means to each person, ‘You matter, you are loved, just as you are.’
Philippians 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
Intentionality
We serve an intentional God. We reflect God’s character when we are intentional,proactive and purposeful with everything we do as a church just as He was for us.
Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Proverbs 16:3 - Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Service
We know that Jesus didn’t come to be served, but to serve. So should we. We elevate our calling over our gifting. We believe that if you are too big to serve, you are too small to lead. We get to lead because we choose to serve.
1 Peter 4:10 - Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
Fun
We believe that church is allowed to be FUN. Sometimes that means that we get out of the norms of “church as usual”.
John 15:11 - I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

What We Believe
Lakeland Family Church is a Bible-believing congregation. These are beliefs which we hold to be true and are common to Christians world-wide.
We believe in one God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are inspired by God, and contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to do evil.
We believe that those who fail to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior are lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whoever repents and believes in the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to salvation, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
Our Affiliations
Lakeland Family Church is a part of the Church of the Nazarene (CON). The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. Organized in 1908, the Church is now home to more than 2 million members worshiping in over 26,000 local congregations in 159 world areas.
